The summer heat and humidity is upon us and I hope this finds everyone doing well. Those that have shops that are in this heat, please stay hydrated!
There were quite a few items that were donated for sale at the upcoming event in Menomonie ( Lets Paint The Town ). We were able to get our booth assignment so we will be on 8th Street across from Wilson Park.
There has been offerings of wood for the club and an email was sent out to members that gave details of who, and what is available. You can check your email for more details.
The President’s challenge of an end grain hollowing item had several beautiful entries. The progress and skills of the members in difficult challenges amaze me. We have a great bunch of turners that are willing to try new and challenging tasks.
Summer is a time for enjoying family, friends, and the wonderful Wisconsin outdoors. Therefore the Saturday open house only had a couple of people attending.
